Art Work Procedures

  • Art Work takes 10 working days to be prepared - Here are a few tips!
  • Always obtain the best possible quality graphic from your customer - this can save days in the artwork process. An original jpeg of their logo is preferred. Scans of business cards or photos of mats take much longer to reproduce into final artwork.
  • Please obtain all the following information before requesting your art work:
    • Size - try and stick to standard sizes or round up or down to the nearest standard size
    • Layout (Portrait or Landscape)
    • Base Colour
    • Placement of logo
    • Colour choice for logo - refer to colour swatches
    • Additional wording required
    • NB! Even a change of size requires a new art work to be programmed by the designers and will take another 10 working days.
    • Beware of the following:
    • Dark logos will not show on dark bases (e.g. Black Base with navy logo).
    • Dark colours tend to bleed into white or grey mist when they are placed adjacent to each other.
    • Please think twice about ordering a mat with a White or Grey Mist base –the mats will appear dirty very rapidly and will require more frequent cleaning.
    • Try and choose from our 16 standard colours - special colours take time and bear an additional cost.
    • Please remember colours appear differently on paper, cardboard, plastic & mats.
    • Always compare colour swatches together with the artwork before approval.
    • Orders will not be accepted where artwork bears alterations (no matter how small) - please arrange for all changes to be made before the artwork is signed off.
    • ALL ORDERS TAKE 10-15 WORKING DAYS FROM RECEIPT OF ORDER- Please bear this in mind to avoid disappointment. To Track an order please contact the Distributor concerned or email brigitte@kleen-tex.co.za.
    • We do not recommend the use of these mats in wells or recesses:
      • The wells are deeper than our mats are thick and there is usually a lip that a pedestrian may trip over.
      • The mat is usually requested without a border/edge. This causes edges to fray over time and the appearance will not be satisfactory.
      • Unedged mats have thin rubber at the edges as opposed to the edged mats that can lead to rucking.
      • We advise that recesses be filled and the mats ordered with edging and placed on new floor surface. (If this is not possible, contact me to obtain info on alternative products
  • NB! Due to the nature of the manufacturing process and the materials used; the sizes are approximate and may have minor variations
  • Colour swatches may be ordered by clicking on the ORDER SAMPLES/BROCHURES link on the Home Page.
